Some are anonymous some are legends in their own right. The show itself will be curated by my top model Jessica Whitbread and shown in her choice of venue, Shampoo, the hair salon where she makes dreams come true.

Again and as usual it was a pisser, thanks to everone who came out to bring it on! Special thanks go to MarieLynne Tarabulsy for organizing this event and for taking on the task that should forevermore be referred to as "God's Work" otherwise known as coralling the herd of artists she invites to participate each year...myself included. Just dont let her near a cow-prod any time soon, or any other item that could be potentially used as a weapon for that matter. Bien reussite cherie et felicitations! Also thanks to the Fabulous Dj's Feck and Gourmet Delice for providing the non-visual element of the atmosphere!

05-12-03 UNBÖRING IN TORONTO - FESTICA FESTICA

Festica-Festica in Toronto was an amazing success! Almost all the artwork was sold, Jerk Appeal gave a great performance, the drag Show was festive...Carmen performed the hottest rendition of Frosty the Snowman ever. I got to see everybody's favorite hairdresser get her haircut and Cindy, despite forgetting her appendix at home...somewhere...managed to make it back in one piece!

08-10-03 BIZZARRO BARFLY - JESSICA FESTICA

The premiere of Jessica Festica at the Barfly last monday was so good that Randall had to leave to find somewhere else to take a nap! SOME of us dressed up...some of us did not...grrr..Regrdless it was a great night of art, music and debauchery. Varick sat in as guest drummer for Crushworthy, Flavie and Maggie discovered glue-guns, Sophie, on the other hand, discovered what happens when the "Beadazzler" meets velvet...I was less experimental and made another painting...
